Hastie is not a fringe back-bencher anymore; he is the most visible symbol of a Nationalist caucus that wants to import the Farage/MAGA playbook.

– Uses exactly the same rhetorical sequence you hear from Reform UK or CPAC: “Western values under siege”, anti-net-zero as sovereignty issue, etc.
Problem: 🇦🇺 Australia is a forward-settled European colony masquerading as a country. It cannot adopt populist policies like the UK’s Reform UK or Trump’s “America First” without risking alienation of its neighbors and sparking conflict.
🌍 Europe also can’t produce another post-WWII-style migrant wave to populate Australia via Italians or Greeks because women have chosen careers and cats 🐱 over babies 👶 and traditional families 👨👩👧👦.
