The mistake boomer politicians make is assuming Julia Gillard’s prime ministership was the end of it, when in fact it was just the beginning.
They fail to grasp that an entire generation of impressionable young Australian women heard her “misogyny” speech and cried out in unison, a moment in Australian political history that ignited something enduring.
As Orwell wrote:
“It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy.”
— George Orwell, 1984
Whilst the West has effectively siloed Muslim & Chinese diaspora from participating in its institutions, Indians have quietly been given free reign.
The consequences have been mostly negative.
Arsons, extortion rackets, drive-by shootings & at least three targeted killings have become part of a disturbing pattern of violence unfolding across Canada.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen and Sikh activist, was shot dead in British Columbia in 2023. Sukhdool Singh was killed in a Winnipeg home & Ripudaman Singh Malik was killed in similar circumstances in ’22
In NZ, an Indian-origin couple has been convicted of defrauding New Zealand’s child welfare agency, Oranga Tamariki, of more than NZ$2 million

Modi’s telling people in India to stop buying Chinese stuff, and he even used a racist jab – called them “small eyes” or something. Indians are kinda known for being racist and putting down other countries.

Funny thing is, loads of folks in Northeast India have small eyes too. pic.twitter.com/OBojOh4Z1Z

Yurong “Luanna” Jiang, Harvard University Master of Public Administration 2025 Graduation Speech
Last summer, while interning in Mongolia, I received a call from two classmates in Tanzania who wanted to ask me an urgent question: how to use their washing machine—because all the button labels were in Chinese, and Google Translate translated a large button as “Spinning Ghost Mode.” The three of us: an Indian, a Thai, and me, a Chinese in Mongolia, are working together to interpret a washing machine in Tanzania. And now we are all studying together at Harvard.
It now takes three Harvard Masters degree graduates to work out how to use a washing machine. No wonder the West can’t make anything anymore.

South Asians are waking up & trying to mentally decolonize themselves. How long will South Koreans last as the only nation bold enough to build a country on top of a military base? pic.twitter.com/dCbqqXq1aL

Those I regularly talk to will know, in my view, South Korea is the world’s “top” military power. They are the only nation bold enough to build a country on top of a military base
Rice and Wheat Yield Comparison (2021)
Australia has twelve times the arable land per person as East Asian countries but our cities are facing unaffordable food & hunger. This can be addressed by switching from a Wheat based diet to one based on Rice. I have written about it here:
https://www.foodstar.com.au/australia-should-transition-to-a-rice-based-diet-to-address-australias-agricultural-challenges-including-flooding-droughts-and-declining-productivity/
| Country | Arable Land per person (hectares) | Rice Yield (tonnes/ha) | Wheat Yield (tonnes/ha) | Primary Staple Diet |
| United States | 1 | 7.97 | 3.24 | Wheat-based |
| Australia | 1.22 | 10.1 | 2.34 | Wheat-based |
| China | 0.08 | 7.15 | 5.74 | Rice-based |
| South Korea | 0.03 | 7.01 | 4.03 | Rice-based |
| Japan | 0.03 | 6.76 | 4.25 | Rice-based |

The Liberal mainstream media worked overtime to change the narrative on this one, flooding your TV screens with women-splaining it was no big deal
Many surveys indicate that Indians, living in the West, expressed a distinct preference not to have neighbors of a different race.
This aligns with the prevalence of an exogamous, patrilineal, and communitarian (EPC) family structure in northern India. In such systems, individuals have strong obligations to their kin, fostering mutual support and care. This cultural framework often leads to nepotism and a view of society as a zero-sum competition, where families vie for resources and status.
