For over 80 years, successive Australian governments have discussed building the Bradfield Channel, a Project designed to divert rainfall from the Great Dividing Range into the arid interior. However, despite decades of talk, no action has been taken.
Now, it seems that Mother Nature herself is stepping in to do the job, laying the groundwork for what could make central Australia more suitable for human habitation. A “lucky country” indeed.
